"Baby" Steps.....
I have not blogged in....well....a long time. As I guess you can see. Somehow i have found my way back to this page today so I guess I will take baby steps to blogging again...well today anyway. I find comfort in writing...I am not a "Talker" when it comes to my feelings so writing is always a good way for me to get things out. I have went through bad times in my life..we all do. Have ups and downs that we go through and find ourselves experiencing...every situation we confront shapes us into who we are.
Sometimes the situations turn out to be not as trivial as we make them out to be...while sometimes we try to hide just how trivial a "situation" has been in our life..either way we grow, we change and we try to better our self from the trials that we face. Have you ever had a trial in your life that you didn't know if you were ever gonna get to the end of that tunnel and see the light??
Most of the people that read this blog...I know have FAITH...so do you turn to you faith in times of hurt/heartbreak/devastation? I do...I have only recently went through a loss that was just HeArTbReAkInG!! Before very recently I have never suffered a loss that has made my heart literally hurt, made my chest feel so heavy, made my days long and gray, make me want to bury myself in my sheets and stay there for days to come..I could keep going but maybe you get the point...If I did not have faith...well I just do not know what I would do...I have FAITH that my lord knows my path and he makes it for me...as hard as it is to bare sometimes...I know he has got my back and is leading me down a path so that I can grow?,change? or better myself?
I have yet to learn what the lord would have me go through this loss for but I do know that because of my faith I will pick myself up, dust myself off and put one foot in front of the other until I am running again. Running down the path that my savior has for me no matter how bumpy it may be. I can not help but think of the pain and mental anguish one suffers that does not have faith...
I always turn to my Bible...no I thirst for my bible esp in trials...the lord has spoken to me so clearly through his word that I thirst for it when I am searching for an answer..I know he will show me...in his time...I know he will show me..for the bible tells me so.
here are few, of many, verses that shows us the lord is always guiding us:
~ God will show me the path of life. (Psalm 16:11)
~ My steps are ordered by the Lord. (Psalm 37:23)
~ I trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean not on my own understanding. In all my ways I acknowledge Him and He directs my paths. (Proverbs 3:5-6)
~ I shall hear a word behind me, saying, “This is the way, walk in it,” whenever I turn to the right or the left. (Isaiah 30:21)
~ The Lord will guide me continually. (Isaiah 58:11)
I pray you are following Gods "path" for you and that you have FAITH in what he has in store for you....

WoW!! Things have been so crazy that I have not had the time to post lately!! I always feel so blessed and greatful for the life the lord has given me in good times and in bad...but recently he gave us a beautiful baby boy and I feel overjoyed to have this addition to our family. His sister absolutly LOVESSSSS him, it is the sweetest thing to see her with him and hear her talk to him...it melt my heart...these are the moments that life should be made of....so simple and heart-warming. Love both of my children so very much!!!!
When I think about happiness....I dont need anything but the loves of my life: My savior, My husband, my daughter and son!!! These things make me so happy beyond any earthly possession!! I want to hold my babies in my arms always and just stare at them because the creation of these little rascals is such a miracle....God is good!!

Giving Back
Ok....so got my DIY girlfriend over at my moms and we are tearing it up!! ...The over 30 year old popcorn ceiling, cabinets, wallpaper, paneling, and so on!! Yeah it is as bad as it sounds but soon my mom will have a kitchen and living room that she deserves. So all this work (while I am 7 month preggo) is for my mom...one word to describe her....selfless. She is the most giving person I have ever met. You need her...she is there, above and beyond!! She always does for her family and yet not much appreciation is giving besides on that one little day a year called mothers day. Which is pretty pathetic honestly!! So...I have been wanting to redo my moms kitchen for a long time....the time has come!! I have a girlfriend that is the DIY queen so she is painting and glazing the cabinets for me..along with a few other secrets...ok ALOT of other secrets!! : ) and I am going to tile her backsplash, paint ...and a few other secrets!! : ) I can not wait to see the expression on her face when she sees her new kitchen and living room!!
To mom: Thank you for all you do!! You are appreciated and LoVeD so much more than you know. I pray that I can be as selfless with my family as you have been with us all these years. I love you!!

Life
Life...I feel lately such an urge to savor every part of life. I just feel beyond blessed in life. I am content with where I am, I know that is because of the lord..he is the only one who can give you comfort and contentment. I am soooo very in love with my husband just as I was 12 years ago! I am blessed to have a wonderful daughter and a son on the way! We are able to have land, a home, a car...and many more luxeries that we as a americans have become accustom to having. How did I get to this stage in my life..where I am married with children..and all these things?? I can only thank the lord above for all he has chosen to give me... I feel so RICH..although I have hardly any $$ in the bank. No matter what life throws at me, hopefully I can always remember that little things do not matter. The lord, my family and friends are upmost improtant to me!!!!

All for $136!!! I bought meat, produce, deli, Cleaning supplies, everything!! AND they load it all in ur car for you!!! That was my first trip and I'm still learning how to save even more!!! Hopefully this will help me stay home when I have this baby!! : ) God is good!!

A Friend of many carats.
One thing I know for sure: we were never created to go it alone ladies. God has created us a community for belonging.
Friend.... Someone who stands by ur decisions, right or wrong. One who can laugh with, cry with argue with and still love and care about each other no matter what. But like any relationship, I think there has to be respect for your friend, her feelings, etc. Lately I've been confronted with the question of who is really my friend.... Or not even really that, just a little a taken back how women...grown women can act and betray a friend. But I'm always the person that let's it go because our father says forgive and forget.
So over the last week or so I've learned more about myself and how I want to treat my friends and how to think of others feelings before I open my mouth.
13th chapter of 1Corinthians:
a friend is patient, a friend is kind, a friend does not envy, she does not boost, she is not proud. A friend is not rude, she is not self seeking, she is not easily angered. She keeps no record of wrongs. A friend does not delight in evil but rejoices in truth. A friend ALWAYS protects, ALWAYS trust, ALWAYS hopes, ALWAYS perseveres!!
Biblical friendship is more beautiful than diamonds. Like diamonds, a godly friendship is built to last!!
To all my friends out there. I love you and hope that I can be the friend that god would have me be. : )
